Router Configurations

So, I just bought a new router.  This is a gigabit router and I love it.  The transfer speeds between Georgia and Deidre are great and I’ve finally set up my home network the way I want.  I have the wired router running interference via SPI and IDS from the cable modem side and I’ve hooked up my wireless router to give basic wireless access to the kbook and Monique.  All this to say: I am happy.

Now that I got that over with, I wanted to post something that I forgot about for a couple of months.  Lets journey back to the first weekend of open XBox Live for 360 owners.  This happened a while back and I made the classic mistake of trying to get a game of Halo 2 started at the same time.  This chat was with an XBox Live rep, who I think was cutting and pasting responses to my problem.  What was my problem?  Well, the guys I wanted to play with were in Spokane, WA and I am in Columbus, OH.  I’m having connectivity problems with just XBox Live and this guy/girl/thing is pasting me…well, read it for yourself. » Continue reading “Yea, Yea, Yea.
